At Watanabe Electric Industry we are highly commitment with the quality of the products and the environment.
We recognize that preservation of the global environment is an important issue common to mankind, and we will contribute to the realization of a society which is able to maintain development while protecting nature. The target of our company is to realize the corporate philosophy and management policy, and by achieving the objective quality which will lead to the utmost satisfaction of customers, the brand image "Watanabe Electric Industry Co. Ltd. is reliable" will be established.
Our products does not contain specific hazardous substances restricted by the RoHS Directive as part of its environmental conservation activities. Alternatively, we are working on manufacturing products that are below the threshold. The display mark of the RoHS directive compliant product is from the product that has been confirmed to be compliant with 10 substances. It will be described in the product specifications.
Sustainability Statement
On March 19, 2007, we acquired ISO14001:2004 certification with the aim being a corporation which takes the environment into consideration at all times. We built an environmental management system, and use of this system was started in the company from November 1, 2005, and resulted in the acquisition of the certification.
In an environmental management system, in order to achieve "protection of the global environment by reduction of environmental impact" which is advocated in the basic environmental philosophy and environmental policy, we have continuously taken actions towards the reduction of environmental impact through our business activities and products.
Quality Commitment
Watanabe Electric Industry acquired the ISO9001:2008 Certification, for the purpose of "achieving further customer satisfaction" and improving the quality of the company.
Since the company was founded in 1940, we have continued to promote development, manufacturing and sales of measurement and control instruments, and have received consistent evaluations from society.
However, only the enthusiasm and actions of each employee is not enough to achieve "continued manufacturing of products which will provide maximum customer satisfaction, and continue to create a company which uses customer satisfaction as the roots of our growth" which is our corporate philosophy.
